During the quarantine, cities around the world turned into ghost towns.
Italy was one of the first countries affected by the virus. The lockdown forced everyone to stay at home and to leave it only for urgent needs. Even buying food was difficult. Endless queues in supermarkets and completely tilted online orders. Fortunately, there were them. The delivery riders.
They darted all day undisturbed in the silence of the streets. A huge thanks goes to them, who made this quarantine more bearable. They helped the restaurants to survive and allowed the citizens to satisfy some of their desires. Small purchases, cigarettes, drugs, sushi. Everything we needed. Here are some great snaps of those riders, taken by Eleonora Costi.
Clancy's comment: Good for them, but I'm sure they enjoyed riding around without the pollution and traffic. Thank you, Eleonora.
