RIDERS DURING
QUARANTINE
G'day folks,
During the quarantine, cities around the
world turned into ghost towns.
Italy was one of the first countries
affected by the virus. The lockdown forced everyone to stay at home and
to leave it only for urgent needs. Even buying food was difficult.
Endless queues in supermarkets and completely tilted online orders.
Fortunately, there were them. The delivery riders.
They
darted all day undisturbed in the silence of the streets. A huge thanks
goes to them, who made this quarantine more bearable. They helped the
restaurants to survive and allowed the citizens to satisfy some of their
desires. Small purchases, cigarettes, drugs, sushi. Everything we
needed. Here are some great snaps of those riders, taken by Eleonora Costi.
