Hi Clancy,

Great read. Couldn't put it down till I finished it. I must say I really enjoyed the story.

Hi Clancy,
Everyone needs a "Sam". This cut so close to the bone Clancy but in a good way...and yes, I cried. I hope you do well my friend. This book really needs to be out there ... it's a winner!

Clancy,

Courageous book, and brilliant author as well. This book needs to be read by other judges and lawyers. I admire your bravery as an author. Many would never be able to write a book like this with the same sensitivity, knowledge and purpose. This book took my breath away. Overwhelmingly brilliant work!
Thank you.

Brave Justice is a must read. I could not put it down, so relevant to girls and womens issues today. The main character, Sam, is strong and not afraid to fight for those who need a heroine, and yet she is compassionate, funny and thoroughly feminine. A great role model for all ages.  This book discusses difficult subjects honestly and reflects the difficulties girls and women experience. There would be few who have not experienced some form of sexual harrassment.

This book is an important read for young women to give them a sense of empowerment, and an important read for young men who have it within their power to lead the change that needs to happen in the treatment of the female sex.

Bravo Clancy Tucker!

There are few authors who can tackle difficult topics and send the reader away satisfied that the future may indeed not be as bleak as it seems - that there is hope in knowledge and awareness.

Clancy Tucker has achieved this with Brave Justice - a great piece of work. Mandatory reading for so many groups in our society.

I'm so grateful I read this book and am glad I gave it to my sister who has had poor mental health for many years. I hoped it might inspire her, but little did I know that a former boss had raped her 17 years ago.

My anger towards the offender is palpable, but reading this book has inspired my sister to take legal action, and I will support her all the way; emotionally and financially.

This book has been life-changing for my sister and I, and it should win multiple awards. Thank you sincerely, Clancy Tucker, for being brave enough to tackle this subject. Outstanding work!

Having read the previous five books in the 'Kick-Ass' series, I excitedly read Brave Justice. Wow, it is one of the best books I've ever read. I certainly learnt a lot about sexual abuse, but particularly what is involved for brave women who take their predators to court. The scourge of sexual abuse has existed for centuries, but now I am more informed and am grateful to Clancy Tucker.

This book contains great humour, some wonderful relationships between the characters, some hard-hitting facts, and a very human main character. It is well written, moving, and a must read. I have read all of Clancy's books but this is exceptional. Without any hesitation I recommend this book. Trust me. No one will expect the final revelations made in court. Outstanding finish!

Brave Justice - Review by Anastasia Gonis

Brave Justice is the 6th book in the popular Kick-Ass series by the multi-talented, and highly regarded, Clancy Tucker.

His leading female character, the strong and persistent Sam, is back. Now a proactive and respected criminal barrister, a new Law firm sees her resume her successful practice soon after returning to Australia from Thailand.

Still coming to terms with the death of her beloved Mick, she is comforted by the knowledge that in his memory, she has established a sanctuary for homeless Thai children.

While waiting for Mick’s probate to be finalised, Sam keeps busy with other matters close to her heart.

Her old fiend Carlo is about to lose his thriving restaurant business due to his addictive gambling habits. Sam gets onto it straight away - as usual, with her no-nonsense approach and ability to set things right.

Sam takes a case for Shannon, a young woman reputedly sexually molested as a child by swimming coach Duncan Reith, a well-known and respected man of power.

She is presented with a series of serious events which spiral into something that will challenge her strength and commitment.

It is not easy research she has undertaken. To enable her to expose the perpetrator/s, she faces evasion, denial, cover-ups, and sabotage, as devious sexual predators watch each other’s backs.

None of this deters Sam’s determined and brave quest for justice.

But in searching for evidence, a long chain of connecting incidents surface.

Here, Tucker is at his best. Outstanding, well-researched courtroom scenes – some painful and confronting, expose child abuse in its worst form. The perpetrators, skilled at using their positions of absolute power, are described vividly, making the text a reel of film before the reader’s eyes.

An unexpected, powerful denouement makes the heart race.

This is riveting reading not to be missed. This series goes from strength to strength as Tucker once again, fearlessly addresses confronting issues.
