18 August 2012 - FAME and FEAR

Quote of the day:

"For when the one great scorer

comes to write against your name,

he marks not that you won or lost ...

but how you played the game."

FAME & FEAR

Whilst most of us lucky ones have been enjoying the Olympic Games, others around the world have been trying to survive. The following is a collection of photographs courtesy of the brilliant photographers at Reuters: Russell Boyce, Max Rossi, Lucy Nicholson, Eddie Keogh, Petr Josek, Fred Prouser, Jeff Tuttle, Tom Peter, Yorgos Karahalis, Carlos Barria and others. Compare the photographs below. The Olympic photographs are bright and colourful. The others are drab.  Life can really suck sometimes! How lucky are we?
