G'day folks,

Imagine walking down the road and seeing a car with a giant and scary rat's face glaring at you. No, that’s not a scene from a bad sci-fi film. That’s one of the many weird car designs we're about to present for you today. In these pictures below, you will get to see some of the most peculiar car models ever designed. Some of them resemble tanks and boats and some have been inspired by animals. Looking at them, you will surely wonder how these oddball designs ever got made.

G'day folks,

Well, here is something really weird for you car-lovers.

This may look like some modern re-creation, but this one of a kind transparent Plexiglas Pontiac 'ghost car' model was created in 1939 and shown at that year's World's Fair in New York. It was built on the chassis of a 1939 Pontiac Deluxe Six in cooperation with a Plexiglas company. Only one was ever made!

This special car was made to be shown in the 1939-1949 World's Fair in New York. Pontiac wanted to give people a big surprise, and they sure did.

They worked with a company called Rohm & Haas, that had just developed a new product called “Plexiglas”. They added a clear body shell to a Deluxe Six chassis.

G'day folks,

I posted another case like this some months back. It is extraordinary that people would purchase valuable vehicles and leave them to rust away.

It's not very often that you stumble across a collection of vintage cars worth millions of dollars, especially on a family-owned farm! Some 60 vintage cars, some of which are extremely rare, were found lying around and left to rust on a farm in western France. The rare collection once belonged to French transport entrepreneur, Roger Baillon.

Baillon's grandchildren were the lucky heirs. Among the prized vehicles was a Talbot-Lago that once belonged to King Farouk of Egypt. Imagine finding something like this on your property.

A short while back, a photographer was on a leisurely stroll through the countryside of Portugal when he came across a huge storage barn that had no place being where it was.

Looking out-of-place, his curiosity got the best of him and he decided to walk up to the building for a peek inside. What he saw made his jaw hit the floor. It was an absolute dream come true and he needed more details. He went up to the farm-house near the building and asked if he could take a look inside. The owner told him the story and made him swear to keep the location a secret. He was allowed to photograph the contents however he could not tell a soul where he found this hidden treasure. Check this out.

According to the property owner the cars will stay as they are and none will be sold.
