Some of those things just would not happen today. Imagine seeing a man holding his child standing on his upraised hand? Or children sliding down steps in a cardboard box. If you pegged your children out on the line, you'd be reported for child abuse! As for making swings from a lamp post, the council wold soon be after you. Such simpler days.
