AFRICAN FACTS
G'day folks,
Today I feature another segment in the series about Africa, a continent sometimes called the 'Dark Continent'. Africa is
the second largest continent, as well as the second most populated.
About 15% of the world's population reside in Africa. But, unfortunately,
they face many problems: poverty, disease, lack of clean resources,
lack of housing and violent, bloodthirsty regimes. Africa has been a
troubled continent for many years, and although many countries and aid
organizations try to help, the people of Africa overuse the rich natural
resources available. Because of these problems, not many
people go to visit Africa, although it does have a lot of fascinating
and beautiful things to see. Here are a few interesting facts.
